Research  Interests

My research interests are mainly engaged in studying material properties of the Earth’s interior under high pressure and high temperature extreme conditions, with both shock wave compression and static compression. In particular, I am interested in: (1) thermal EOS, transport properties, and acoustic velocities of solid and liquid iron alloys, (2) phase transition, (3) element partitioning, and (4) melting and structure of liquid transparent materials.
