Focused on static compression experiments of hydrogen and deuterium in the multi-mega bar pressure regime using Raman spectroscopy as a diagnostic. Work contributing to the discovery of a new phase of hydrogen (phase IV), the first solid phase of hydrogen to be discovered in past 25 years.
