▌Research Interest
The primary thrust of my research is to explore the structural origin of intriguing properties of advanced functional and energy-storage materials at atomic scale. In many cases, my main tool choice is state-of-the-art TEM/STEM imaging and spectroscopy, in addition to various macroscopic characterization methods and theoretical calculation.
My particular interests including:
1) interface structure and property,
2) lattice strain engineering and characterization,
3) design and engineering of lithium battery materials,
4) nanoscale material sciences at extreme pressure/temperature,
5) development of high-Pressure Transmission Electron Microscopy (HPTEM).
