Philip Dalladay-Simpson研究员喜获MRE青年科学家奖

HPSTAR Staff scientist, Dr. Philip Dalladay-Simpson, was given the MRE Young Scientist Award for being honored in recognition of of his contributions on high-pressure physics, chemistry, mateirals, Earth and planetary sciences. He has pioneered major technical breakthroughs that have enabled high-pressure science and spectroscopy to reach a new dimension.

"Dr. Philip Dallady-Simpson is the third consecutive MRE Young Scientist Award winner of HPSTAR, congratulations to Philip on another well-deserved recognition of his scientific achievements," said Dr. Mao of HPSTAR. "His enterprising work is an excellent addition to HPSTAR’s trailblazing new scientific directions."

Philip was presented the MRE Young Scientist Award at the ICMRE 2023 conference in Zhuhai, China on June 6th.

Dr. Philip Dalladay-Simpson joined HPSTAR as a staff scientist in 2018. He focuses his studies on the characterization of simple systems, with a particular emphasis on molecules and molecular mixtures at the highest possible pressures achievable in a DAC.

The MRE Young Scientist Award is initiated by the journal of Matter and Radiation at Extremes (MRE), the world's first journal of extreme science. This prize aims to encourage young scholars around the world to achieve and demonstrate important, original, and innovative achievements in the study of extreme conditions and radiation.
