Study unconventional superconductivity in strongly correlated material, including heavy fermion superconductors, pnictides and cuprates under extreme condition, low temperature, high pressure and high magnetic field.

Wenjing Ban

WenjingBan is a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Hong Xiao at HPSTAR Beijing Lab.She is working on the study of electrodynamics of strongly correlated materialsusing infrared spectroscopy and is also interested in high pressure behavior oftopological and superconducting materials. She received her Ph.D. in condensedmatter physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017.

Xue Yin is a master graduatesworking with Dr. Hong Xiao. She is working on the study of unconventionalsuperconductivity under low temperature and high magnetic field conditions aswell as high pressure. Her research also include Raman spectroscopy study onthose materials.

Jie Huangreceived his bachelor degree in Kunming University of Science and Technology in2016. He joined Prof. Hong Xiao's group as a student in February. His researchinterest is the transport properties of strongly correlated materials underhigh pressure.

Bing Xu

Bing Xu is a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Hong Xiao at HPSTAR Beijing Lab. He is working on the study of electrodynamics of strongly correlated materials using infrared spectroscopy and is also interested in high pressure behavior of the phonons in these materials using Raman spectroscopy. He received his Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014.




Bo Gao

Bo Gao is a postdoctoral associate working with Dr. Hong Xiao. He is currently working on the study of unconventional superconductivity under high pressure as well as low temperature and high magnetic field conditions. His research interests also include the growth of epitaxial films and novel superconductors.

Wei Liu is a joint supervision of master graduates working with Dr. Hong Xiao. He is  working on the study of unconventional superconductivity under low temperature and high magnetic field conditions as well as high pressure . His research also  include by using Raman spectroscopy to study those materials.
