High Pressure Chemistry Group (HPChem)


The HPChem group focuses on the reactions of unsaturated molecules under high pressure, including the development of new functional carbon-based materials from simple molecules and the research on the reaction mechanisms. The technique used includes in-situ crystallography method (XRD and neutron diffraction), in-situ spectroscopy (Raman, IR and X-ray spectroscopy) and all kinds of physical and chemical analysis methods for the recovered sample. We are also interested in other systems that may show novel chemistry under high pressure, and are glad to collaborate with scientists all over the world.

团队概况(HPChem


我们致力于研究高压条件下不饱和分子的化学反应,理解高压条件下化学反应的基本规律和特有的反应机理,并利用高压、光照等物理手段从小分子出发合成具有特殊结构和性能的碳材料。我们主要利用原位衍射(X射线衍射和中子衍射)、原位光谱(RamanIRX-射线光谱学)的方法以及化学微分析方法对高压下结构的转变过程和退压样品的组成及结构进行分析,同时结合理论计算来探索高压下的化学反应过程。同时,我们也关注在高压条件下可能显示出新化学过程的其他体系,并且十分欢迎能与来自世界各地的科学家们进行合作研究。
