Postdoctoral positions are available immediatley and contineously:

The XSG group at Beijing Center of High Pressure Science & Technology Advanced Research (HPSTAR), China, continuously seeks international applicants for a postdoctoral position in the field of high pressure research on condensed matter physics, materials science, and mineral physics. The position will focus on studying emergent phenomena, such as superconductivity, magnetism, and phase transitions...  in electron strongly correlated materials under extreme conditions.

Qualifications:  A PhD in physics, materials science, or a related field is required. Applicants who are familiar with diamond anvil cells, or  synchrotron, or neutron, or Raman scattering techniques, electric/magnetic transport measurements, or interested in high-pressure physics are welcometo apply at any time.

Stipend: The annual salary will depend on candidates' experience. For a firsttime postdoctoral applicant, the starting salary is 200,000 RMB (~32,200 US dollars). There will be additional research and travel support for conducting experiments overseas when beam time is available. The positions are available immediately.

Application package consisting of a cover letter, curriculum vitae (including a list of publications), statement of research interests, and contact information for three references must be forwarded to Dr. Yang Ding (yang.ding@hpstar.ac.cn).

For graduate students:

We are also seeking motivated graduate students, with Physics, Material Scienceor mineral physics background, at any level (i.e. Master or Ph.D) to join our group. For those who are interested, please send your  CV and a brief summary of research interests to
